Rio Bravo MS
Through the years, Rio Bravo has worked hard at educating our students. In order to keep up with the 21st Century Learning Skills, Rio Bravo, along with the district, implemented 1:1 Engage Me Initiative by supplying a chromebook device to every student. This supports the integration of technology for each classroom content. We also implemented a three-year STEM program which offers students, innovative course work such as: Computer Apps, Design & Modeling, and Automation & Robotics.
Ysleta High School was the first high school built in the Ysleta Independent School District and is considered to be the flagship school for YISD. The school built in 1927, by architect Henry C. Trost, is one of the oldest schools in El Paso and is considered a historic landmark.
The school is located in El Paso’s lower valley and is adjacent to the border of the United States and Mexico. Many of it's students belong to the Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo or Tigua American Tribe of Native Americans.
